Head of Engineering

We are currently looking out to hire an Engineering Leader to be a part of our journey.

Experience : 8+ years.

Role : Engineering

- Will lead technology function in Company.

- Software development : Ideally someone with coding experience for web apps, mobile apps, conversant with Java, React Native capabilities. Ability to build and test other applications to e-commerce apps, including websites, web-based apps, mobile apps and embedded IoT systems that facilitate, manage and monitor various commercial sales operations.

- Integration with other systems : Ability to understand infrastructure management for public cloud hosting of the apps (both web and mobile). Should have a good understanding of how the logistics system developed by the supply chain team will integrate with ecommerce app.

- SEO/SEM understanding: Basic understanding of keywords and SEO. Not just for search engines but also for social networking sites like FB and Instagram.

- UI/UX capability: Ability to understand basic principles of front-end design of apps and how the same can integrate with back-end Supply chain systems

- Someone who have experience of delivering projects on Shopify.

- Lead software development by closely working with in house and outsourced software engineers and stakeholders

- Ensure software products delivered meet the specified Quality Goals

- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle

- Interpret and translate business needs to technical requirements and accurate estimates

- Ensure high quality software is delivered by following engineering practices like peer code reviews, code standards, and unit testing

- Ability to manage Shopify projects.
