Head - Social Media - Media (8-14 yrs)
Job description:
- Prior experience of OTT categories not mandatory but would be a bonus.
- Experience in handling content marketing is a must.
- Domain expertise of all social media platforms from both planning and buying perspectives.
- Deep knowledge and experience with multiple communication channels and their role in brand marketing
- Communication Development: Working closely with agency partners to create compelling consumer communication backed by strong insights.
- Develop the go-to-market digitalplan, owning the entire India digital marketing budget and decidingon the optimum spend allocation to deliver the agreed business goals.
- Responsible for driving Innovation, Engagement across all social media platforms.
- Closely working with central social media teams to drive maximum leverage of network strength.
- Drive user acquisition, engagement and retention by optimally investing across digital platforms.
- Monitor performance of each platform; identify and implement opportunities for improvement.
- Ability to build huge people network/ increase the traffic or fans on social media profile pages.
- Optimize results for campaigns by working with creative team on A/B testing content.
- Knowledge of Analytics and Planning tools. Google Analytics is mandatory but in addition some exposure to other Analytics tools would be great.
- Proven ability to think strategically, with a balanced analytical and creative approach, and the ability to teach others to think strategically.
- Ability to present data visually.
- SPOC for managing the relationship with Social/Content Marketing agencies
- Research and implement new techniques and technologies that are relevant for our digital media strategies.
- Be directly accountable for the marketing dollars being invested on digital marketing.
Education and experience
- The ability to proactively build strong working relationships with internal and external contacts to deliver exemplary service at all times is essential to the role.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to push back as subject matter expert.
- Strong attention to detail
- A proven record with large, complex campaigns
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
- Proven record of developing colleagues.
