Job Description :

- Minimum 12 to 15 years experience as Head of the department and strong experience in managing a team.

- Have in depth knowledge of exports procedures, custom clearance, Sea Port operations , documentation, CFS operation's and transportation.

- Have strong contacts with most of the Shipping lines, Charter Operators

- Have first hand information on sea export freight rates to major ports in USA, Europe, China and other major world port locations.

- Choosing logistic service providers / transporters on basis of cost efficiency, market value & track record.

- Negotiation of freight rates with the Forwarders / Airfreight agents in case of non-nominated shipments, getting competitive freight rates

- Should also have good experience of handling project shipments , Breakbulk, odd dimension cargo .

- For custom clearance candidate should have complete knowledge from start to cargo handover to shipping lines.
