Head - Service Delivery - Software Applications & Digitization

Our Client, a Leading IT Services Company is looking out for a Head of Service Delivery - Software Applications & Digitization to be based at Bangalore.

Experience in managing Large Healthcare digitization projects is an added advantage.

Job Purpose:

The role will be required to provide leadership to the Technical Delivery Managers & Project Managers in running the digital delivery and operations. It involves the delivery of software projects, operational planning & improvement and technology adoption initiatives across various Industry verticals and geographies in Digital and Business Applications.

Qualifications: B.E/ B.Tech

Certifications: PMP/ Prince Certification/ Scrum Master

Experience:

- Proven experience in managing onsite and offshore delivery teams.

- P&L Ownership

- Proven experience in delivering projects in Fixed price, T&M, and Hybrid models.

- Experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams including Project Managers, Technical Delivery Managers, BA's, UX, Software Developers, Consultants, Testing.

- Proven experience balancing multiple priorities and dealing with ambiguity.

Project Management :

- Experience in full stack development environments.

- Experience working in latest programming languages.

- Experience in Microservices and DevOps.

- Drive Change Management

- Resource Planning

Responsibilities:

- Responsible for the operational and service excellence of the application development and delivery.

- Actively contribute to pre-sales, implementations, and delivery of medium to large projects with high complexity.

- Ensure high quality deliverables, handle complicated escalations, and ensure highest customer experience.

- Ensure high levels of collaboration between cross functional teams, project managers and business functions.

- Establish governance frameworks, implement right methodologies, and best practices that enable seamless delivery process.

- Drive innovation at all levels, provide guidance, promote continuous learning & improvement and nurture talent.

- Enable healthy and positive work environment through promoting a psychologically safe work environment, company's values driven culture and aligning to the organization's goals

- Complete Accountability and Ownership of all the delivery functions through a healthy P&L and smooth functioning

- Actively participate in devising future growth strategies and drive initiatives.

- Manage the contractual agreement with the customer/ vendors and risk.
