Job Purpose-

- The role entails being the Finance partner for supporting all strategy, planning & MIS for Retail Assets, Rural Banking, Wholesale Banking, Retail Liabilities, Branch banking, KCC, Business banking, Wealth Management, Digital Alliances & Partnerships and Credit Cards .

- The role holder would be responsible for driving and implementing capital budgeting decisions for any new projects in All business units.

- This role would require the role holder to take ownership of business and financial modelling, budgeting and forecasting and analytics to drive operational and financial excellence.

- The role entails being responsible for Total Retail Assets, Wholesale Assets, Retail Liabiltiies, Treasury related activity, Bank Level MIS. This a critical role that works with Business Heads to strategize plans, execute initiatives and calculate feasibility of new initiatives.

Key / Primary Responsibilities-

- Lead the development and management of financial plans and budgets for retail liabilities, Branch banking, KCC, Business banking and Wealth Management, Digital Alliances & Partnerships and Credit Cards

- Set performance benchmarks and forecast targets for retail liabilities, Branch banking, KCC, Business banking and Wealth Management, Digital Alliances & Partnerships and Credit Cards

- Spearhead the Budget planning, forecasting and along with the respective Business Heads and own the monitoring and review process of the monthly P&L

- Monitor the plans and initiatives against decided budget and forecasts

- Capture and assimilate market intelligence and use analytics to provide relevant insights and financial modelling for business purpose

- Help develop short term (tactical) and long term (strategic) plans for the organization

- Set targets for AUM, disbursals, workforce hiring numbers, costs, etc. at a granular level for each product and business

- Support Digital partnerships and alliances by leveraging co-branded cards, Forex cards, POS tie-ups and Prepaid cards to expand business across geographies and help achieve larger organizational objectives

- Partner with Risk to create and leverage NPA tool - Pragmatics

- Responsible for analytics & reporting of business costs and for identification of productivity measures and thereby, challenging units on their cost drivers

- Provide key financial insights based on the data and recommend path corrections to realize pre-set budget and profitability goals

- Maintain controls within the MIS framework to ensure compliance with the banks policies

Secondary Responsibilities-

- Drive the adoption of high quality market intelligence and data analytics to ensure that business achieves agreed growth/profitability objectives

- Keep abreast with global market trends and developments in financial models in key markets

- Collaborate strongly with the business/ support units and provide them superior data / fact led analytical insights (business and external environment) that help them take critical business decisions

- Actively support CFO and new business activity wherever required
