Head - Security - Chemical/Oil & Gas Firm (15-25 yrs)

Security Planning and Scheduling

- Plan and prepare monthly and daily duty roster pertaining to security, fire and sanitation tasks.

- Plan and direct security, fire safety and traffic control arrangements for Company events and functions.

- Plan, prepare and monitor schedule of checking and maintenance of portable and fixed fire fighting systems across the Complex.

Vigilance & Fire Prevention

- Ensure implementation of security procedures for vigilance and traffic management and fire prevention arrangements in the factory premises in all shifts.

- Ensuring serviceability of all electronic equipment installed for the purpose.

- Examine any emerging security issues and monitor investigation of security lapse and other vigilance tasks assigned by the management.

- Organise checking and control of incoming and outgoing material from the Company Gates.

Security Initiatives

- Supervise and monitor Fire Preventive Action and participate in mock drills, as per laid down schedule.

- Supervise implementation of Health and Safety Procedures in all spheres of Security Department's Functional Areas.

- As an Auditee assist in conduct of internal as well as external Health and Safety Audits.

- Gather plant intelligence information (e.g. brewing discontent and dissatisfaction etc) by interfacing with Trade union leaders and plant personnel periodically and bring it to the notice of management for timely remedial action.

TECHNICAL SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

- Knowledge of Industrial Security Management

- Knowledge of Fire Prevention and Fire Control Systems

- Knowledge of Basic Labour Laws as applicable to an Industry (Factory Act 1948 & Rajasthan Factory Rules 1951)

- Grievance Handling & Interpersonal Skills
