Head - Security
- Constantly develop, implement & standardize security systems and procedures in the organization to reduce risks, respond to incidents, and limit exposure to liability in all areas of financial, physical, and personal risk.
- Monitor Overall Security Measures
- Prepare overall- security plans and manage security operations of organization, including assignments and staffing of contract security
- Assist management in- the investigation of theft, pilferage, shrinkage, road or fire incidents, breaches of system & protocol, criminal activities. etc. and recommend corrective measures
- Ensure security- surveillance by conduction frequent security patrolling for preventing theft, sabotage, subversive activities and providing safe and accident free zone. Monitor all movement of material in an out of the premises
- Manage all security- costs through financial analysis within budget. Maintain cost control and cost effective operations and planning of the department.
- Frame security- policies & manuals for the Voltas security and various SOPs needed for smooth and secured operations in all India. Frame policy and suitable system for smooth progress and entry of man & materials inside premises
- Evaluate potential- risks to company or personnel and advices regarding security & safety issues to management
- Provide regular- & timely intelligence input to Management on IR and other issues for effective decision making
- Conduct periodic- training, emergency mock drill, implement various fire equipment measures to improve/ enhance the safety operations. Emergency response setup and management. Focus on fire prevention activity
- Develop second Line- in all critical areas
- Conduct routine- audit of all safety processes
- Liaison with Government & Outside Agencies
- Interact with the- appropriate local authorities viz. police, Fire, traffic and other government agencies on Emergency response and Security & safety issues.
- Monitor performance- of security agency & liaise with security agency for effective security, training, night checks, etc. and coordinate with agencies to improve the quality of service.
