Head - SCM & Logistics - FMCG (10-12 yrs)
Reporting To: CEO
Role & Responsibilities:
- Managing all logistics and supply chain for all the brands and leading a team of eight to ten resources including the field team.
- Planning and managing logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services.
- Directing, optimizing and coordinating full order cycle.
- Managing inventory, warehousing and deep understanding of the critical indices and key performance parameters of the logistics function.
- Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency.
- Managing transporter relationships, negotiation and finalization of handling rates and secondary transportation rates from warehouse to other locations.
- Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets.
- Providing SAP guidance and support to the team.
- Adherence to all statutory compliances
Work Experience:
- Min 10 yrs - 12 yrs
- Previous experience in FMCG preferred.
Skills:
- In depth knowledge and rich experience of transportation, warehousing and Logistics operations
- Hands on SAP
- Strong communication negotiation skills
Qualifications:
Graduation + PG / Diploma in Supply Chain Management & Logistics.
