Head - Sales - Retail (8-12 yrs)

Sales Planning: 

1. Organize and lead the competitor study and analysis on their margins, pricing, gap analysis etc. to help build strategy and targeted interventions

2. Conduct industry analysis on the sales and operations of eyewear frames market on periodic basis

3. Conduct analysis and benchmarking on the terms of trade for dealers and distributors

Trade Policy Management:-

1. Develop and approve the terms of trade for distributors & dealers and conduct periodic reviews and updation and manage changes if any

2. Establish and approve the warranty norms for products under this channel

3. Identify, evaluate and approve new distributors under this channel and

4. Identify, evaluate and approve the exits of distributor based on their performance

Promotional Schemes & Pricing:-

1. Design and approve channel-wise annual promotional schemes by collecting feedbacks from the field sales teams

2. Collect and relay pricing feedbacks to the marketing teams to cater to customer needs

3. Monitor the monthly BTL budgets across location

Sales Execution: Customers & Accounts Management:-

1. Ensure financial pay-outs to relevant stakeholders against discounts after conclusion of scheme

2. Approve credit based sales to distributors on case to case basis after due considerations

3. Conduct periodic dealer visits and organise annual dealer connects with the regional sales teams

Merchandise Replenishment:-

1. Coordinate with marketing teams to identify profitable products channel wise

2. Identify, categorize and approve the list of slow moving products and approve countermeasures to liquidate the inventory

3. Define and approve the minimum stock quantity for every distributor and monitor the same periodically

Sales Incentives:-

1. Design and approve dealer and distributor incentives in coordination and consultation with the regional sales teams

2. Ensure timely scheme roll-out and compliance across locations

3. Design and develop incentives for the field sales teams and ensure pay-outs on regular basis

Field Sales Operations Management: Coverage Plan Development:-

Conduct periodic review and provide improvement feedbacks of the coverage plans in review meetings with the regional sales teams - Coverage plan - Customer satisfaction scores

Third Party Management:-

1. Analyse the proposals from the third party vendors and approve the development of new technological supports with inputs based on daily observations and feedbacks from the field sales teams

2. Coordinate, approve and monitor the proposals/ deals shared by the travel partners for executive incentive plans in coordination with the relevant stakeholders

3. Approve and guide teams to execute shop in shop setups in coordination with the stakeholders

Training & Development:-

1. Identify, collect and provide requirements to the training teams by conducting periodic need training identification

2. Create and approve the modification on existing module for additional inputs relevant to business success

Sales Monitoring & Control: Sales Performance Analysis:-

Collect and analyse the sales data to extract inputs on periodic basis and provide countermeasure on improving the sales numbers in the regions

People & Talent Management:-

1. Drive a culture of diversity, performance and transparency in the region and ensure the employees in the region are engaged.

2. Mentor and develop staff using a supportive and collaborative approach.

3. Ensure talent pipeline is created by succession planning for the critical positions in the region.

4. Set Objectives for Reportees aligned to the organizational /functional.

5. Liaise with HR on vacant positions.

6. Conduct recruitment interviews for key positions in the region; Monitor the implementation of the Sales Training Program for the team across regions.
