Head - Sales & Marketing - Railway Division (14-18 yrs)

We have an opening for Head Sales & Marketing for a Japanese multinational conglomerate company headquartered in Chiyoda, Tokyo, Japan. highly diversified company that operates eleven business segments: Information & Telecommunication Systems, Social Infrastructure, High Functional Materials & Components, Financial Services, Power Systems, Electronic Systems & Equipment, Automotive Systems, Railway & Urban Systems, Digital Media & Consumer Products, Construction Machinery and Other Components & Systems.

Looking for Head - Sales & Marketing for there Railway division.

Job responsibilities:

1. Candidate should have worked closely with Japanese or multi-cultural experience in terms of reporting and escalations.

2. Very strong in institutional sales

3. Excellent liaising with Govt officials especially in Ministry and with external stakeholders and vendors.

4. Expertise in business development, marketing, new market capturing initiatives, new product launch and acceptance in Indian rail industry.

5. Expertise in Market, Sales & project management for Railway and Metro Projects.

6. Project management and execution of Mass Transit projects.

7. Generate new business development in India for Metro, MRTS & Indian railways.

8. Preparation and submission of budgetary quotes and bids.

9. Interface with Sourcing & design team to win orders.

10. Co-ordination with the Research & Development team and strategic planning to win the Govt. & Private Tenders.

11. Achievement of business results in an efficient and professional manner to ensure an on-going customer satisfaction.

12. Conduct sales activity, supervise sales as required and monitor the sales performance of the region to ensure sales targets are met.

13. Manage budget/expenses for sales efforts in an assigned region and issues reports as applicable.

14. Collect competition and miscellaneous industry, product and customer information through routine filed interactions or formal surveys.

15. Travel frequently to visit customers and attend Preparation of Techno-commercial proposals & bids and converting in orders.
