Head of Sales & Marketing - Leading Food company in Eastern India (12-22 yrs)

Our client is one of the most popular company in Eastern India in Food products space. It is a household name for wheat products, powders of cereals and pulses, ready-to-cook items, snacks and more. Our prestigious client has being one of the leading and most reliable brands over the past 8 (eight) decades. Our client is a leading manufacturer, retailer and exporter of food products.

We are looking for a Head of Sales and Marketing to lead the Marketing and Sales of our client's products and to create competitive advantage for our client in the market space. The responsibilities in this position include generating high unique sales plans, creating engaging advertisements, emails, and promotional literature, developing pricing strategies, and meeting marketing and sales objectives. The Head of Sales and Marketing represents the company's brand and drives strategies to increase product awareness by observing the market, competitors, and industry trends.

To be a successful in this role, you should have strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills. You should also possess an in-depth knowledge and understanding of sales and marketing.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Understanding business goals and converting them to sales strategies for the business as a whole

- Ensuring revenue growth and achievement of top-line targets for the business

- Creating sales budgets, sales plans and variance analysis periodically to ensure their achievement

- Enable profitability for each market while managing sales operations in target markets

- Conduct periodic market visits and enable channel development

- Identifying various distribution network development initiatives as required and ensuring their implementation

- Strategizing and creating sales promotion plans and schemes for all products and markets

- Providing Sales decisions related to pricing, discounts, channels (online, offline, organised, traditional etc) for all products

- Managing relationships with key accounts and channels and ensuring their requirements are fulfilled on time for all products

- Converting long term business objectives and converting to marketing plans for the business as a whole

- Brand development and improving brand recall for all products across all geographies

- Creating all brand communication and ensuring online presence and social media management

- New market and growth opportunities for the business and managing new market entry strategies where required

- Defining product positioning, pricing and communication strategy for any new products/brands to be launched by the organization.

- Participating in Industry forums and creating brand visibility in such domains too

- Conducting market research, product movement and market share analysis for all products and defining strategies to improve the same across various geographies

- Ensuring creation of necessary collaterals for brand development and marketing initiatives

- Team mobilisation and management with motivation for improved results across all functional areas

- Defining systems, processes, and necessary documentation for managing and control of sales and marketing operations

Head of Sales and Marketing Requirements:

- An MBA degree in marketing, business administration, or related field.

- 10-12 years' experience in marketing/sales.

- Experience in managing a team essential.

- Understanding and knowledge of sales and marketing.

- Strong analytical, organizational, and creative thinking skills.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

- The ability to understand and follow company policies and procedures.

- The ability to work under pressure.

- Age max upto 45 yrs
