Sales Head - Mumbai West Position: Sales Head (West) / ZSM (West) Location: Mumbai Industry Preference: Liquor / Alco-Bev/Wine Experience: 15-20 years Education: MBA/PGDM - Marketing or equivalent CTC: 40 LPA Team Size: 40 members spread across 3 hierarchical level Job Summary: We are looking for a Sales Head to spearhead sales of our West region The ideal candidate will be responsible for architecting a sales strategy and scaling revenue to the next level. Key Responsibilities: 1. Responsible for Business Planning, Sales Development, and Strategic Initiatives for West Region (Maharashtra, Pune, Goa). 2. Achieve Sales Volume, Revenue, and Profitability of the assigned territories. 3. Analyse market trends to provide critical inputs & formulating selling & marketing strategies. 4. Key Account Management - Building effective relationships with key accounts. Identifying clients, and generating business from existing clients, thereby achieving profitability. 5. Driving width & depth of distribution through innovative strategies - pertaining to both sales and marketing 6. Planning for all channels/Verticals, devising sales promotion, consumer activations, expense controls, and budgeting, and internal communication. 7. Building an environment for teams to achieve their KPIs while securing P&L. 8. Team Management - Motivating and Managing a team of 40 members spread across 3 hierarchical levels 9. Training & Development of direct and extended teams to create force multipliers at the ground level. 10. Work collaboratively across teams ; including operations, Product, and Marketing Skills required: 1. Strong retail sales experience in Maharashtra (Mumbai & the Rest of Maharashtra). Demonstrable experience as head of sales, developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions. 2. Possess extensive knowledge of sales principles and practices, and an ability to coach other on them. 3. Strong leadership and team-building skills.
