Head - Sales - India - IT Consulting Co. ABOUT THE CO. : A global technology consulting and solutions &amp; services provider focused on Retail, Healthcare, BFSI and Public Sector customers. THE JOB : - The Sales Leader will be responsible for building the India geo business for the co. by acquiring new customers in the enterprise and public sector verticals, cutting across all the businesses at the co. This shall majorly involve: - Working with the organizational leadership to strategize and accordingly plan an approach and the key milestones to be achieved by sales, to build business in the geo - Driving a multi-million dollars revenue quota for the geography, through the assigned team of sales professionals, as well as through substantial individual contribution, on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis - Ensuring there is ample pipeline for new business at all times, with strong focus on demand generation - Mining global accounts of the company with strong focus to do business with such customers' India organizations, wherever there is a scope - Helping the team have a clear strategy for accounts/new business, based on industry domain and service vertical perspectives - Guiding/supporting the team in advanced stages of the sales process to ensure higher probabilities of closure for deal threads - Steering bids/pre sales for correct alignment, and leveraging bids/pre sales teams, wherever required, to align closely with customers to be able to understand requirements/pain areas in depth or/and to deliver demos &amp; PoCs - Meeting customers pan India, on a constant basis - Ensuring revenue realization - Helping top management have a clear forecast of new business and resourcing needs based on the same - Create &amp; maintain relationships with key alliance partners and OEMs, leveraging global relationships of the co., wherever possible IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE : - Full-time MBA and/or Engineering qualification - Someone already leading sales for India markets at a technology consulting co., with deep exposure to managing sales of application consulting as well as digital led solutions &amp; services to enterprises and public sector in key Indian locations. Ensuring new business of many million dollars for his/her employer in the region - Strong thought leadership/understanding of how latest technologies related to digital/SMAC can be leveraged for business transformation/realignment - Strong people leadership/engagement experience. Team work is the be all of this role! - Currently operating through individually contributing sales professionals working in a logical matrix, besides self-creating new business opportunities/net new revenues, too - Good track record of alliance/partnership management - Travels extensively pan India IMPORTANT NOTES FOR INTERESTED CANDIDATES : - Only IT (Software) experience will be considered i.e. no other technical sales exp. will do - Apply only if you are based out of Delhi-NCR - This roles involves individual contribution (for new business development) as well.
