Our client Anviti Insurance Brokers Private Limited is in the process of setting up its Insurance Broking operations in India. Anviti is promoted by Catamaran, the proprietary investment firm of Mr N.R. Narayana Murthy, founder of Infosys Limited. Head of Sales - Insurance Broking

The leader is responsible for achieving the sales goals of the company. S/he will define and execute the - Insurance Broking- multi-year sales strategy. S/he is responsible for building a sales team and for driving a strong performance oriented sales culture. The incumbent will generate and manage key prospect relationships as well as define and execute a penetration strategy for existing clients.

Ideal candidates are Leaders with over 15 years of experience at Senior Executive levels, selling Insurance Broking services across general insurance products. S/he should have: - Strong C-Level & Risk / Insurance management relationships and/or ability to establish trustbased relationships at this level. - Strong communication and presentation skills, Consultative selling, advising, influencing and negotiation skills - Solid understanding of the insurance market - in India, and Worldwide. - IRDAI licentiate certification. Insurance professional qualifications will be an added advantage.

The candidate should have had both top line and bottom line responsibilities and with a high level of customer retention goals. S/he should be a specialist in at-least one insurance specialty area and well versed in multiple products and should have had cross selling experience of other products in the current role.

S/he should have worked with matrix structured organization; a team player and is collaborative. The incumbent requires to work with existing Clients, Account teams, Broking or Practice groups to develop a global perspective in the placement, development and account management across all lines of insurance and geographies.

S/he should drive and guide a high performance sales team in winning new business for the company. Well versed in preparing sales forecast, pipeline management, annual sales goals, manage RFP and bids, develop account plans/strategies

The responsibilities will include - Build, manage, coach & mentor the India sales teams to drive sales performance and financial results, including coaching the sales champions within the matrix structure to support the growth agenda - Continue to build country sales and marketing structure, including recruitment of capable staff for key roles and management of "underperformers-
