1. Business Development: -

a. Scout for potential customers within the region & guide team for creating new business opportunities.

b. Build relationship with key stakeholders at customer's end

c. Create new category, extend business to new geography and approach new customers for maximizing revenue

d. Accompany sales team for critical customer interface

e. Responsible for Achieving agreed topline numbers, increasing market share with a focus on new business generation

2. Project management:-

a. Guide team to identify the right opportunity within the region

b. Collaborate with Innovation team for better stakeholder's management

c. Periodic project review for monitoring and achieving committed deadlines.

d. Communicate variance in timelines or scope of brief both to the client and internal team.

e. Share customer's feedback on submissions on a regular basis with internal team members.

f. Regular debriefing of major win or loss for better learning.

3. Planning and Organizing:

a. Plan, organize and deploy the team to meet the current and future business plans of the region accordingly.

b. Prepare and present current year budget to the senior management team

c. Review sales team's performance every month for course correction, if any

d. Identify the current and future resources requirements in order to achieve the current years targets and ensure alignment to long term business objectives.

4. Working Capital Management:-

a. Review the debtor's status with the Sales Team regularly to minimize over dues with clients.

b. Partner with finance team for regular updates on outstanding.

c. Reconcile the overdue statement with the client on a regular basis.

d. Review FG stock regularly for quick liquidation and reduce further generation

e. Explore alternative modes for payments in order to reduce pressure on the working capital.

5. People Management:-

a. Identify vacant position and share details with the HR.

b. Interview and finalize shortlisted candidates.

c. Set objectives goals and evaluate performance of team members.

d. Coach, mentor and develop the team, nominate team members for trainings.

e. Conduct regular team meetings so as to guide team on departmental issues and resolve conflicts in order to build a high performing and motivated team.

Prerequisites:-

(Qualifications, experience or relevant knowledge required e.g. Industry)

- Science Graduate preferably with MBA.

- The role involves regional level responsibility and therefore the competencies should be backed by at least 10 years of experience in Fragrance sales and Specialty chemical and Ingredient
