Job Description :
- Planning, executing a customized sales strategy, including but not limited to stockists, super-stockists, distributors, and MT retailers. The expansion will start from South Indian metro cities - Bangalore, Chennai, and Hyderabad. Prior experience in these markets is required.
- Contribute to New Product opportunity identification for stakeholders including distributors and independent operators.
- Analyze the business and develop sales plans.
- Identify competitive opportunities and risks within the market and act decisively to capitalise on opportunities and mitigate risk.
- Build strategic relationships with decision makers in assigned accounts and maintain close relationship with the customers at various levels/functions within the organisation (i.e., food and beverage director, innovation/marketing lead)
- Develop customer relationships with Dealers, and other influencers/decision makers to drive strategic growth
- Responsible for face-to- face execution of Sales & Marketing strategies to grow the total business (profitable growth)
- Be a leader, influencer and activator with internal and external key stakeholders
- Work with the Marketing team to participate in strategy building, monthly forecasting, sales planning, and other initiatives demanding sales input and involvement.
- Usage of new sales management processes/tools (including call reports post end user engagement)
- Attain or exceed sales plan and financial objectives.
- Develop a robust pipeline of opportunities and report in through the designated process.
- Responsible to set-up business reviews and a yearly joint business plan with key customers leveraging the support of the distributor lead and line manager.
- Provide continuous insights on competitor actions that impact our market position in the industry
Desired Requirement:
- The candidate must have 10 years post MBA work experience in FMCG sales.
- Should have led sales team at ground level.
- Sales experience in South India market required.
- Current CTC above 15 lakhs
- Should have a 2year MBA/PGP or 1-year executive MBA from IIM A/B/C or ISB. Preference for IIMA candidates as founders is from IIMA as well.
- Comfortable with ESOPs and high paced startup environments.
- Willingness to travel extensively across South India
- Willing to Relocate to Bangalore
