Head of Sales - AP & Telangana


Profile Objective:


Head Sales will be responsible for the expansion of brand presence and drive sales volume, and market share in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana state. Implement sales strategies by enhancing the distribution network and achieving desired targets through General Trade and Modern Trade Channels.

Key Task:

The position will be responsible for handling the Sales Operations for the entire state of Andhra and Telangana State and delivering the specific targets assigned to that state. This role would report to the CEO.

Core Responsibilities:

- Assisting and developing overall Sales plans and strategies for sales growth.

- Responsible for planning the region and setting up targets for the state.

- Responsible for primary and secondary target achievement of the assigned region

- Responsible for setting up coverage plans

- Responsible for Monitoring availability and visibility of all our products in the outlets/ market.

- Responsible for preparing daily market working schedule for each RDS points.

- Provide key competitor activities pertaining to- pricing , Packaging, Consumer & Trade offer - periodically

- Plan and supervise sales activation at State level and drive the sales personnel's in the allotted state

- Maintain and strengthen the existing distributor networking.

- Identify gaps and appoint new RDS / super stockists.

- Ability to apply sales concepts in developing plans.

- Exceptional Knowledge of Local market and its related outlets.

- Decisive & effective problem-solving ability.

- Effective Man Management ability.

- Team player with adjustability to circumstances.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Educational Qualification: Graduate with MBA/ PGDBM in Sales / Marketing or equivalent qualification from a reputed institute

Age Limit: 39 - 48 Years

Linguistic Skills: Should be fluent in Local (Telugu) & English Language

Experience:


- 15- 18 Years of sales experience in handling mainline FMCG brands.

- Should possess good networking capability and should be willing to travel extensively throughout the specified area.

- Local Candidates Preferred.

Preferred Companies:

From any A/B Cluster FMCG / FOOD COMPANIES of regional/national brands of repute.
