About client:

Multinational organization who operates worldwide with leading innovations, brands and technologies in three business areas: Adhesive Technologies, Beauty Care and Laundry & Home Care.

Some Role responsibilities:

Performance Leadership of Nigerian Laundry and Home Care Sales Team based on defined KPI in order to maximize its contribution to business success in terms of growth and profitability.

b) Major part of the activities will be directed towards a continuous capability development of the entire Sales organization, focused but not limited to People, Processes, Systems and Standards.

c) The incumbent drives change in his own organization, but also the entire business. Pro-actively analyses, questions structures (e.g. sales network) and implements changes under the guidance of CMD EGIL. He/She brings the sales organization in Nigeria to a level which is full-filling internal performance standards, aiming to reach best-in-class operations internally, but also in Nigeria.

d) Sustainable success of this position is measured by KPI in the areas of cost, quality, service and safety balancing a continuously improved operational performance with the flexibility of the required sales. Specific targets for those KPI supporting substantially the business success are set each year and tracked monthly.

II Main Task:

a.Steers, develops and is accountable for activities and people in the areas of:

- Planning & Forecasting

- Distribution

- Sales (Traditional, Modern and Institutional Trade)

- Trade Marketing

1. The incumbent has to be able to - deep dive- into specific challenges in the a.m. areas, supported by his/her education, professional experience, and personality.

2. To assess and reinforce the distribution coverage by managing various verticals viz modern trade, traditional trade, appointing / re-aligning the distributors and intermediaries.

3. Constantly ensure that the environment in Sales is high on energy, attitude, and enthusiasm - building competent people to take on higher responsibilities.

4. Contribute to the formulation and implementation of the long term sales and distribution strategy and budgets, to achieve long term business plan/objectives.

5. Ensure that the entire team is fully aware of and complies with all the company's policies and procedures.

6. To ensure that the right quantum and mix of sales managers & Supervisors are in place, with their motivation maintained at highest levels, the role and expectations are unambiguously communicated, their results reviewed in a systematic manner and corrective actions implemented.

Scope: Budget responsibilities: 7% of Net External Sales

- A minimum qualification required is a Master's Degree in Business Management

- Solid hands-on knowledge of Talent Management

- Strong level of leadership, initiative and communication skills

- Proven ability to influence at all levels across an organization (especially senior and middle management).

- Highly developed decision making and problem-solving skills.

- Proven ability to coach and train; deliver messages, lead workshops, develop people in training/coaching environment.

- Capability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.

- Proven ability in Project Management

- Master's In Business management or Equivalent 12-15 Years, International experience preferred and managerial experience 7 years.

- FMCG Sales experience is a must
