We are driving a leadership role with one our client based at Kolkata:

- Designation: Head Sales (Retail)

- Location: Kolkata

- Qualification: Post Graduation in Sales & Marketing

- Minimum 15 plus years of progressive experience in channel sales in the consumer industry

Job Description:

- The incumbent is a key member of the retail sales leadership team, responsible for driving the growth story of the organization and sustaining its leadership position in the market.

- The incumbent should have the bandwidth and necessary acumen to take up a higher order business role in future.

- Develops and drives the sales strategy for the retail channel in line with the organizational objectives and the retail business plan.

- Manages and achieves sales volume, value and growth targets.

- Designs and implements effective trade schemes to drive product sales.

- Tracks competition activities and local market trends and adopts appropriate interventions in the market to counter the same

- Expands the retail footprint of the organization in the market by continuously developing and cultivating new customers (dealers / distributors);

- Maintains productive customer relationships through continuous engagement with key dealers and speedy resolution of issues;

- Leads and mentors a team of RSMs, State Heads, Area Sales Managers, Sales Supervisors and Sales Officers in pursuit of the above objectives.
