CURRENT POSITION

Head - Sales & Business Development (Biofibre Division)

The head will be responsible for establishing the biofibre division for the company. Position demands that the person have through knowledge of the requirements of various textile segments. Essential contacts in the industry to take trials, scale up and then launch the products is a must. Good understanding of bioprocesses is pre-requisite.

QUALIFICATION AND DESIRED SKILLS

- Prefer MBA with Textile Engineering

- 12+ years of experience in textile marketing

- Communication and negotiation skills

- Time management and planning skills

- Proven sales track record

The key job responsibilities for this position are as below (but not limited to)

- Conduct market research for various applications developed by the company's R&D lab and prepare sales and marketing plan for products selected for launch.

- Launch and establish biofiber division for the company

- Develop a marketing and Business Development plan for the company for this vertical

- Identify potential clients in India and abroad

- Arranging business development meetings with prospective clients

- Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction

- Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs

- Promote the company's products / services addressing or predicting clients- objectives

- Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines

- Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support

- Maintain a deep knowledge of the markets and industry of the company

- Maintain the Gross profit % ratio as decided in the annual budget meet

- Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers

- Develop sales team for catering to various market segments

- Participate in various exhibitions and conferences to build company profile

- Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.
