Job Summary:

- We are seeking an accomplished and visionary Sales & Marketing Head for our Solar Energy division.

- This senior leadership role is singularly responsible for strategizing and implementing integrated sales and marketing initiatives to drive exceptional revenue growth, strengthen our brand presence in the market, and ensure optimal market penetration.

- This demanding position requires exceptional leadership, profound analytical acumen, and the proven ability to align all sales and marketing operations seamlessly with overarching business goals and objectives within the dynamic solar energy landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth:

- Comprehensive Strategy Development: Develop, articulate, and execute comprehensive sales strategies with clearly defined benchmarks for performance evaluation, ensuring alignment with the company's long-term growth aspirations.

- Customer Base Expansion: Proactively identify and capitalize on new market opportunities, segments, and channels to significantly expand the customer base and drive increased market share.

- Outcome-Based KPI Management: Define and set clear, outcome-based Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that are directly aligned with core business objectives, and meticulously ensure adherence and achievement across all sales and marketing teams.

- Opportunity Closure & Stakeholder Management: Drive the successful closure of key strategic opportunities, manage complex stakeholder expectations, and overcome potential obstacles to secure deals.

- High-Value Negotiation & Relationship Building: Lead and execute high-value contract negotiations with top-tier clients, while concurrently fostering and developing strong, enduring strategic relationships that contribute to sustained business growth.

Marketing & Brand Strategy:

- Integrated Campaign Development: Devise, plan, and oversee the execution of compelling and effective marketing campaigns across both offline (e. , industry events, direct mail, roadshows) and cutting-edge digital platforms (e. , SEO, SEM, social media, content marketing, webinars) to significantly build brand equity and generate qualified leads.

- Market & Consumer Alignment: Ensure that all marketing campaigns and branding initiatives are rigorously aligned with in-depth market research, evolving consumer insights, and competitive intelligence to maximize resonance and impact.

- Strategic PR & Brand Positioning: Lead strategic Public Relations (PR) efforts, communications, and overall brand positioning to achieve maximum market impact, thought leadership, and a strong, positive reputation within the solar energy industry.

Team Alignment & Benchmarking:

- Standardized Evaluation Criteria: Establish and implement standardized evaluation criteria and performance metrics to ensure consistency, transparency, and fairness in assessing team member performance against defined expectations.

- Measurable Team Goals: Ensure that all team goals, across both sales and marketing functions, are meticulously focused on measurable outcomes that directly contribute to overall business success and revenue targets.

- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Champion and promote robust cross-functional collaboration, leading regular, highly effective alignment meetings between sales and marketing teams to ensure seamless strategy execution and shared objectives.

Compliance, Budgeting & Audit Readiness:

- Budget Management: Strategically manage the combined sales and marketing budget, optimizing resource allocation to ensure maximum efficiency, return on investment (ROI), and adherence to financial goals.

- Performance Tracking & Strategy Refinement: Continuously track, analyze, and report on performance metrics, utilizing market trends and data insights to refine sales and marketing strategies proactively.

- Internal Audits & Compliance: Oversee regular internal performance audits for both sales and marketing functions, ensuring strict compliance with all brand guidelines, communication standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.

- A Master's degree (MBA) is highly preferred.

- Minimum of 20 years of progressive leadership experience in integrated sales and marketing roles, with a substantial portion specifically within the solar energy or broader renewable energy sector.

- Proven track record of success in driving significant revenue growth, expanding market share, and building strong brands in a B2B environment.

- Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing comprehensive sales and marketing strategies that yield measurable results.

- Extensive experience in leading and motivating large, diverse sales and marketing teams.

- Strong financial acumen with proven experience in budget management, forecasting, and P&L responsibility.

- In-depth knowledge of market research techniques, consumer insights, digital marketing tools, CRM systems, and traditional marketing channels.

- Exceptional negotiation, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to think strategically, solve complex problems, and make data-driven decisions.
