Sales Head - AI SaaS Product/Internet Startup - Bangalore


- We are looking for a high-performing Sales Head to help us meet our customer acquisition and scale revenue to the next level by keeping our company competitive and innovative.

- The ideal candidate will be responsible architecting/crafting a sales strategy and should be excited by selling into new markets, strategizing next steps, negotiating complex deals and beating the competition in head to head opportunities.

Responsibilities :

- Own all plans and strategies for developing business and achieving the company's sales goals

- Work collaboratively across teams - including Engineering, Product and Marketing

- Provide full visibility into the sales pipeline at every stage of development

- Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company's customer base and ensure its strong presence

- Objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales team

- Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs

- Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management

- Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status

Requirements and Skills :

- BS/MS degree in business administration or a related field

- Minimum of 10+ years' experience in Sales and ideally in Software Product Sales

- 5+ years of proven SaaS product sales closing experience, including Enterprise Sales, and consistent over-achievement of quotas

- Possess extensive knowledge of sales principles and practices, and an ability to coach others on them

- Strong analytical and quantitative skills: ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions.

- Strength in problem solving, issue-resolution, ability to work in a deadline-driven work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.

- Successful previous experience as a sales manager consistently meeting or exceeding targets

- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization

- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close

- Strong business sense and industry expertise especially from IT environment

- Excellent communication written and oral and interpersonal skills

- Excellent leadership and team building skills
