Head - Risk & Credit for a leading Financial Services organization in Mumbai

- Our clients are a leading Financial Services Fintech organization having a national presence and growing extremely rapidly. They have extremely ambitious plans and are looking for an extremely competent professional senior manager to take on independent responsibilities as Head - Risk & Credit based in Mumbai.

- Our clients are looking for accomplished Risk & Credit professionals with 12 - 25 years of strong and relevant experience with leading Banking / NBFC / Fintech organizations / Small Banking Financial / MFI organizations.

- Ideal candidates must be able to demonstrate a high degree of initiative, ownership, and integrity and possess a strong entrepreneurial drive and vision.

Job Profile :

1. Provide the overall leadership, vision, and direction for Risk Management

2. Develop risk management policies, including the quantification of the NBFC's risk appetite through specific risk limits

3. Implement a set of risk metrics and reports, including losses and incidents, key risk exposures, and early warning indicators

4. Improve the NBFC's risk management readiness through communication and training programs, performance measurement and incentives, and other change management programs

5. ECL computation and reporting

6. Monitor and ensure proper working of teams involved in credit risk management including credit risk policy formulation and development, documentation of credit risk management procedures (pre- and post- sanction), model development and validation for retail, corporate and SME lending, credit risk capital computation, data management, risk mitigation, portfolio and individual credit review, monitoring and reporting including determination and monitoring of limits

7. Monitor the integrity of risk measurement techniques and MIS that are used to monitor the financial institution's risk profile relative to its risk appetite

8. Act in a timely manner to ensure effective management, and where necessary mitigation

9. Work closely with Analytics and Technology/Digital to develop or enhance Risk scorecards, Credit scoring models, Application scorecards, Merchant scorecards, Risk-based Pricing (basis detailed financial and behavioral trend analysis) predictive and preventive data modeling of segment risk profiling

10. Have an oversight of the entire Finance Value Chain to ensure portfolio performance within targeted risk/delinquency limits

11. Constantly appraise the loan portfolio to understand the performance of loans across products, duration, industry, geography, and ticket size. Recommend the right portfolio mix

12. Accountable for portfolio and static pool loss rates

Candidate Profile : CA or MBA (2 - years full time) with 12 years to 25 years of relevant industry experience. Must have in-depth knowledge of SME business (low ticket portfolio/ SME LAP/Mortgage/PL)
