Head - Rewards & Policies - Automobile/Chemcials/Manufacturing (7-12 yrs)
Key Result Areas:
- Benchmark existing policies and processes internally and with industry modern practices to recommend best-in-class practices for implementation across Group Companies - Constantly ensure adherence of established Group policy & process guidelines & timelines by individual Group Companies
- Analyze employee experience and feedback on HR policies and processes to constantly challenge the status quo and improve existing practices
- Overseeing compensation databases, benchmark compensation, annual performance reviews, and employee benefits.
- Develop a consistent compensation philosophy in line with Organizational Vision and work culture
- Assessing individual Group Company compensation philosophy/ pay structures and constantly striving to establish a fair, competitive, consistent and transparent Group standard in line with modern industry practices. Ensuring individual Group Companies adhere to established norms on Group Compensation Guidelines
- Benchmarking competitors / industry, reviewing internal company performance and strategizing compensation, benefits and increment proposals for apex leadership approval. Ensuring communication of the decisions on the same to key stakeholders
- Designing Group Company specific Long-Term Incentive schemes / Retention Bonus schemes, etc. to engage and retain Leaders / Top Talent / Critical Talent
- Facilitating assessment of Jobs as per Hay methodology of evaluation to determine grade levels
- Support individual Group Companies in creating compensation proposals for their Nomination and Remuneration Committee (NRC) meetings
- Driving increment and Bonus proposals to closure for senior leadership
Preferred Skills:
- 7-12 years experience in designing reward frameworks and structures
- Senior leadership compensation design / administration
- Experience in making innovative benefits packages
- Understanding of how Rewards structures are changing in the industry
- Should be proficient in MS Excel and presentation skills
- Good communication and drafting skills
Education: MBA/PGDM
