Operations Head - Retail - Fertilizer Industry

Exp : Require 20 to 25 years of Experience in Modern Retail in operations.

Qualification: B. Sc (Agri) / M. Sc (Agri) Mandate

Key Responsibilities :

1. Ensure all stores are profitable and increase per store profitability.(quantum of profit)

2. Overall Accountable for the store operations which includes managing shrinkage, LED, fixed cost etc. Ensure controls - Cash and Bank, EOD, no manual bills, No credit, SOP adherence.

3. Guide the Zonal Managers & AMROs to create season specific Maps in terms of rainfall , crop sown acreage etc in order to ascertain the potential of the stores and review the same with actual sales map ( actual category-wise sales) ( ZMs/AMROs to take the help of Central analytics to provide such maps). Guide operations support team to help in floor-rising of bottom performers and ceiling-rising of top performers.

4. Overall acountable for Zero stock out situation by ensuring (a) adequate stock cover (b) Fulfillment velocity, ie quicker replenishment - Fill rate

5. Accountable for ensuring 100% coverage of farmers & retention of customers in all catchment areas across all stores.

6. Responsible for the expansion of the retail stores both in existing as well as new geographies by commisioning catchment and feasibility studies and taking the final call. Review of store performance and taking decisions to close and/or relocate

7. Review the Performance of Service teams which includes Supply chain, Store analytics, Operations & Projects.

8. Design strategies to increase NOB of all Stores and ensure implementation by the field team.

9. Design attractive sales incentive structure for store and field team to enrich performance
