Position – Head Retail
Location – Mumbai
Reporting - Head Sales
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for formulating and implementing retail strategies in order to maximize business growth (Sell in and Sell through), profitability, market coverage and market share.
- Ensuring channel expansion through end to end store opening process starting from site selection to final store set up.
- Ensure implementation of processes to maximise operational efficiency (conversions, ASP, ATV, IPT etc) in order to deliver store profitability.
- Responsible for creating and implementing marketing strategies for the channel.
- Impact the product line and merchandise mix for the channel through accurate forecasting models.
- Identify key success levers that are critical to the achievement of the business objectives
- Identify opportunities to minimize cost & maximize profitability.
- Define the scope of various process audits that need to be carried out in the department.
Key Specifications:
- 10 - 14 years post qualification.
- Experience in leading or assisting in setting up of a regional or a national level retail business for a consumer goods company.
- Skills to set up company owned as well as franchisee retail stores at premium and tactical locations at the regional level and national level.
- The candidate should have managed retail business with channel partners which are Large Format Retail stores / National Chain Stores.
