Head - Retail Expansion (8-12 yrs)

Client is a vertically integrated tech platform disrupting retail through technology. Client, with its proprietary platform integrates online and offline retail channels enhancing efficiency and scalability through omnichannel transformation by intelligent use of data. Its proprietary software is used by large Global Brands as a SAAS Platform and is also leveraged by ace turtle for its licensed Brands portfolio. Its Licensed Brands portfolio includes long-term licenses of marquee international global brands.

Job Description:


- Create Annual and 5 yearly Expansion plan for the Brand


- Search new locations for Brands' Retail stores, negotiate and make deals regarding Lease Agreements at the most beneficial commercial terms


- Prepare and approve business model of the new projects


- Coordinate and support projects team in implementation and delivery metrics


- Find scope and opportunities to timely negotiate the cost of rentals/ occupancy to maximize gross profit


- Conduct market surveys to capture the market potential and regularly find new initiatives to expand Retail footprint


- Act as the brand ambassador to build relations with the third party/ malls/ franchisees & landlords.


- Support and Lead the Agreement process with defined Landlord and franchisees with support from Legal team.


Your Talent: Masters' degree preferably in Management, Business, Law.


- 8-12 years of professional experience as a Retail Business Development (Expansion) Head in international/ Reputed Retail organization - Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Strong negotiation background


- Strong attention to detail and being able to understand and articulate business expectations and requirements


- Strong analytical skills and result-driven


- Fluency in English, local language


- Must be flexible and able to effectively prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
