Head - Retail Business - Logistics/Micro-Finance/NBFC/Telecom/Payment Bank (10-15 yrs)

This role is primarily responsible for the building and growing the Retail Business which is the one of the largest priorities and one of the most profitable business lines . The role holder will be responsible for the P&L of the vertical. It is a business building role with a key responsibility to - build for future- through effective team building and with highest quality processes and technology.

SECTION II: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities:

- Work with Business Head in developing and implementing Retail business strategy for ensuring successful alignment with the overall strategy

- Responsible for P&L of the Retail business. Achieve overall business target for India. Manage the growth and development of spot revenue and ensure it is in line with vision and operating plans

- Build overall business

a. Identify and develop ~100 micro-markets for the business

b. Build the team to lead the micro-markets. Implement the full team charter - KPIs, incentives, performance management, promotion and skilling agenda

c. Establish local proposition for the target customers in each micro-market, establish strategy to grow the business

d. Develop tech for highest quality business and service outcomes. Use tech as the differentiator of the business proposition

e. Develop products and services to maintain a competitive position for - Formulate budgets for the business - across micro market segments and team.

Conduct periodic reviews to monitor performance.

Develops and implements plans for remedial action in case of deviation. Manage cost and expenses.

- Establish relationships with new customers and secure business relationship that help achieve assigned sales targets.

- Works closely on service quality to ensure all quality targets are met.

Resolve any query and improve customer experience.

- Contributes and enhances the brand image and inculcates service and sales culture across micro markets, regions and clusters.

- Responsible for building a world class team.

Guide and coach the team to help them to achieve the required skills and contribute to the development and performance of the Retail Business.

Contributes to the development of overall business strategy by providing strategic inputs to the Management Committee

Educational Qualifications

Premier MBA Years of Experience

12 - 15 Years Nature of Experience

Prior B2C / micromarket Experience - preferably in industries with wide spread consumer base (e.g but not limited to: Micro - Finance, NBFC, Telecom Pre -paid sales, Payment Bank, Agency Sales(Insurance))

Experience in New Business Development and client management

Leadership Role experience

High Tolerance for ambiguity and ability to work in relatively unstructured environments;

Strong verbal and written communication
