This is a senior management role. An ideal candidate must have at least 10 years of banking / NBFC experience particularly in Credit Appraisal/ Credit Monitoring & Control / Credit Administration function with a complete understanding of retail products and related risk implications thereto, with a pro-active approach to problem solving. Candidate must have expertise in Credit Underwriting and should possess good understanding of RBI Guidelines and all the relevant banking laws and practices. Experience of working in a Co-Operative Bank/ Small Finance Bank (SFB) would be an added advantage. Education, experience and certification requirements: - Graduate /Post graduate with CA/ICWA/MBA/CAIIB will be preferred - Minimum of 10 years work experience at senior management roles at a Bank / NBFC of good repute - MUST have handled a team size of 10-15 employees - Sales/ Marketing qualification / work experience will be an added advantage Age: Below 45 Years Job Responsibilities: 1) The functional responsibilities would comprise of underwriting and overseeing Retails Loans comprise of Housing Loans, Mortgage Loans, Personal Loans, Vehicle Loans, Education Loans, Working capital limits to traders/ shopkeepers, auto-rickshaw loans, SHGs and other special schemes of the Bank 2) Actively support in achievement of business goals for Retail loans & advances. This includes adherence to TAT, meeting budgeted profits, achieving targeted asset level, building a smooth process flow, arresting asset quality slippages and assist in achieving budgeted fee based revenues etc. 3) Responsible for closely monitoring and maintaining asset quality, supervision and control of the Retail credit portfolio of the bank. 4) Responsible for Product Innovations, Product Monitoring and Review that will contribute to the achievement of the business targets. 5) Responsible for assisting the branches by introducing marketing strategies, tie-ups and process re-engineering in the Retail portfolio to achieve business targets and maximize returns. 6) Providing effective quantitative and qualitative reporting and MIS to senior management for better strategic decision making. 7) Scheduling need based knowledge sharing / training sessions on retail lending products for Branch staff. 8) Periodically review, renew and monitor the portfolio to ensure asset quality is maintained. 9) Effectively liaison with registered dealers, vendors and authorities of various tie-ups engaged for the growth of the Retail loan portfolio like Auto dealers, SHGs, etc Functional Competencies: 1) Strong analytical skill & a flair for marketing 2) Excellent problem solving & time management skills 3) Stakeholder relationship management 4) Ability to perform under tight timelines and plan for contingencies 5) Team development through coaching & mentoring 6) Delivering consistent results 7) Leading & managing a team for achievement of business goals - say team size of approx. 10-15 members Behavioural Competencies: 1) Strong leadership and influencing capabilities 2) Achievement orientation & drive for results. 3) Strong verbal and written communication skill 4) Planning & organizing skills 5) Interpersonal & Conflict management skills
