Qualifications:

- BSc + MBA ; Agribusiness (Agri will be preferred) OR - Graduate/Post Graduate/PhD. Candidate with MBA from good business school would be preferred.

- Should have around 10 -15 years of experience with government (NABARD, Ministry of Agriculture, DBT, DST, and Dairy Cooperative.)

- We are also open to experienced candidate, recently superannuated, having good networking skills/liaison.

- Exception can be made for right and relevant candidate from related industry (Environment, Livestock, Agriculture) even if qualification is not as mentioned/desired here, so please go ahead and apply.

About the Foundation:

This research foundation is working towards sustainable integration of Livestock with Agriculture. Over couple of years, it is closely associated with various organization like NABARD, DBT, DST, NMPB and others, for successful execution of projects towards creating value.

It is well equipped DSIR approved R&D Center.

Many thousands farmers are associated with this foundation and the foundation is currently operating several projects of NABARD, DBT, and DST etc.

The desired candidate must have handled the similar position for 10-15 years including having experience of managing medium to large teams.

Candidate with previous experience of developing rural, social and scientific projects, its submission to funding agencies, its approval and execution for creating value towards sustainability of the foundation would certainly get an edge.

The networking skills would be an added advantage.

Experience of seeking/execution of CSR projects from corporates, PSU and other agencies will be an added advantage.

Key Purpose of the Job:

1. Developing short and long-term plan of Research Foundation towards achieving the objectives of integrated sustainability and One Health.

2. Leading the team and develop the three-year road map to ensure achievement of the planned objective to attain sustainability.

3. Developing marketing and service strategies aligning to market needs & its successful execution.

4. To plan innovative projects in collaboration with like-minded organization and its submission to funding agencies for its approval.

5. Financial management: Working with the accounting and finance team to keep track of the projects and device strategies for enhanced growth and maximum efficiency.

6. Effective communication with all stakeholders.

7. Workforce management: Maintain cordial relationship with workforce staff, facilitating training of employees; install a sense of ownership and mutual growth among the employees.
