Head - Research & Development - Food Processing/Capital Goods

1. Building and implementing new product as per time line:

Responsible for successful commercialization of new product with validation of machine within time frame. A real market-orientation in defining the new projects to launch and its commercialization. To drive for creative, marketable solution to the extent of new technology to create market need.

2. Ensuring competitiveness and innovation of products and processes from a technological and design standpoint.

3. Should have intensive focus in driving innovation in maximizing product profitability and improve product performance.

4. Incorporates relevant design expertise and experience in projects in line with brand/product strategy

5. Develop short and long term strategy for future technology and product position with input from market including best-in-class technologies among competitors.

6. Extensive knowledge of technical applications and manufacturing implication.

7. Good knowledge of most important and latest design tools and technology for R&D team.

8. Proven experience as project management on new product development.

9. Analytical rigor and solid process management to be followed.

10. Must have good team building and Encourages creativity in R&D teams.

11. Establishes and maintains operational budgets for his team personnel and equipments.

12. Develops employees assigned to his department, ensuring the correct application of tools and policies

13. Strong leadership and ownership is needed

14. Capability in managing people and complexity in multiple product line.

15. To promote collaboration with academia and research institutes for innovation.
