Head - Research & Development - FMCG/Food Production

We are looking for a Head of R&D for an FMCG and food production.

Ideal candidates from an FMCG and food production

R&D professional with 7 to 12+ years of experience

Responsibilities, Accountabilities and main duties:

- Development of Candy, Toffees, GUMS, Chewy Toffees and Chocopie

- Developmental work related to reformulation, if required for existing products.

- Coordination / conducting bulk trials and commercial production of New products

- Sourcing of New vendors, Liaison activities with flavour houses as well as food ingredient suppliers.

- Addressing Quality / Process related issues in Manufacturing

- FSSAI compliance and approvals

- Monthly Product cost analysis and Cost Of Goods Analysis

- Coordinating in Cost saving activity

- Budget workings

- Coordinating raising proposals, procurement of new equipment's pertaining to R&D

- Coordinating for getting Renewal of R&D recognition, New product approvals from FSSAI

- Plant HACCP,HALAL Certificate Export inspection agency certification works, Customer Audit certification for export purpose

- Product development works for export requirements

- Co ordination work with respect to Lotte Korea R&D for traded products

- Market Survey of New products

Education: B.Tech - Food Technology / M.Sc - Food Technology (good to have Phd.)
