Renewal sales is a purely outbound calling function that calls when it's almost time for renewals. The individual hired for this role will report directly to the Founder and will be expected to hire his/her other team members. - Requirements: - 10+ years of sales/sales ops work ex - Atleast 4 yrs in inside sales - Retention as a KRA - Managed Customer experience 2+ yrs - Led Renewal sales in an edtech or demonstrated solid results in renewing B2C customers at scale. - Managed a team to deliver revenue targets at 80-90% renewal rates. - Built processes and programs to create long term pulls from current b2c customers. What were looking for in a strong candidate: - Past experience building and scaling a Sales team from &lt; 10 people to 100s of sales reps, at a consumer facing product firm / startup. - History of high achievement in an Inside Sales role, demonstrated by revenue and responsibility growth - Strong problem solving / first-principles thinking (the problems to be solved at Camp K12 are unique as this is a fundamentally new way for kids to learn online and the content space is unique, we will not be simply copy-pasting somebody else's Sales Playbook) - Strong people / mentorship skills and followership. You will be building and leading a team, in an industry where attrition rates are high. Can you attract good talent? - Ability to quickly structure and execute experiments to optimize conversion at every step of the sales funnel - Mission alignment: you cant do this job unless you really care about changing the WHAT and HOW of k-12 education. - Ability to multi-task and prioritize across multiple workstreams - Ability to set aggressive yet achievable targets for himself/herself and the team.
