Looking for a Head of Analytics (Regional) for a large IT services company.
Role:
- You will work with Sales/Customer success teams to develop the regional growth strategy and execute the growth plans (be accountable for revenue targets).
- You will work on proposals across Analytics and Data and create a differentiating story that helps us win projects in a competitive setup
- You will leverage your financial acumen to optimize cost and deliver these projects/programs with healthy margins (own profitability).
- You will own the delivery of multiple client accounts in your region and ensure top-notch execution to delight your clients.
- You will act as an advisor/consultant to your clients enabling them on their Analytics journey and supporting them on various BigData and Analytics initiatives.
- You will be responsible for building highly engaged teams and also work on acquiring top talent.
- As a thought leader, you will enable building IPs that enable us to strengthen our competitive advantage.

You'll bring this to the table:
- Have successfully led large client relationships and managed a P&L of $5-10MM and demonstrated sound financial acumen to deliver target margins.
- Successfully managed and won large and complex Data/Analytics proposals.
- Demonstrate deep consulting skills to solve complex business problems using Data and Analytics.
- Proven expertise in delivering
- Analytics programs using sound statistical approaches in R/Python
- Big Data programs across technologies (Hadoop, Hive, Impala, Spark, Scala, Kafka, Pig, NoSQL, Cassandra, etc), ETL tools (KNIME, Alteryx, Paxata, Informatica, etc) and implementation on-prem and on the cloud (Azure/AWS)
- Strong Data visualization experience (Tableau, PowerBI, QlikView, QlikSense or Spotfire)
- Demonstrated thought leadership in the field of Analytics.
- Expertise in any one domain (Sales and Marketing or Supply chain)
- Deep practical knowledge of running Agile programs.
- Extremely good executive presence.
- Build and led diverse teams of 50-100 people based across multiple locations.
It would be exceptional if you also have:
- Experience in applied machine learning techniques using supervised, unsupervised or natural language processing frameworks
- Ability to apply design thinking principles
- Depth in any of the following industries (HiTech, Retail/CPG, BFSI, Utilities or Pharma)
