Driving Product Innovation for Bakery/ Non Bakery/ Snacks: a. Design the product development program in phased manner through lab, pilot and commercial scale b. Collaborate with internal project team and external partners (raw material vendors, contract manufacturer etc.) to ensure R&D deliverables as per timelines c. Manage project risks and issues by identifying and highlighting these to the team along with impact to cost, quality and timeline d. Come up with a course of action and possible solutions when faced with technical challenges e. Drive interaction with colleagues in Compliance and regulatory to ensure regulatory and company requirements are met and required documentation made in Specification Management Systems f. Design and management of sensory testing and stability study protocols for the projects assigned to the resource g. Via support staff ensures that the development laboratory and pilot plant facilities are managed to a high standard, ensuring Good Manufacturing Practice, Health and Safety regulations are followed in all activities. Driving Open Innovation / Industry Networking: a. Monitor and report on industry trends and innovations to feed innovation funnel. b. Assess ingredient and packaging trends and advise implications and opportunities to the business. c. Develop network of external bodies - drawn from industry and academia, and identify projects for Company Leadership: a. Primary point of contact for this category business for all product and cost innovation programs. b. Interaction with Packaging Development Manager to ensure compatibility of product and packaging from the design stage
