JOB DESCRIPTION :
Position Title Head - QS
Position Level VP/AVP
Reporting To Head - D&E Team Size Indirect - 4 to 5
1. JOB PURPOSE :
To lead and oversee the QS for all projects in India by collaborating, engaging and directing the Consultants and Contractors. Act as the point of contact in the central technical team to interface internally and externally on all issues related with QS guidelines, audit, assisting in execution.
2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Overall responsible for developing QS activities.
- Plans, assigns, supervises, and reviews Quantity Survey for planning, designing, cost estimating.
- Driving the preparation and maintenance of cost records which are used in preparing cost estimates of new projects.
- Interact with internal and external Stakeholders to develop requirement specific solutions.
- Leadership level for self competence and team training.
- Review and approve weekly, monthly and special progress reports, as needed.
- Manage and resolve disputes between Consultants, Contractors and other Stakeholders.
3. QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
Minimum :
Qualification BTech / BE (Civil) - QS
Minimum Experience 15 - 20 Years
Age Less than 50 yrs
Job Specific Skills :
- Considerable knowledge of the modern principles and practices of QS

- Competencies Teamwork, flexibility and excellent people management skills
