Head - Quality & Regulatory - FMCG (12-16 yrs)

Location - Mumbai

Responsibilities:

- Build & Drive Robust Quality Management Systems and Processes.

- Support supplier/co packer risk mitigation strategies and initiatives.

- Ensure regulatory compliance in domestic, export labels and product claim approvals.

- Act as Corporate Counsel on regulatory changes in food safety and food legislation.

- Lead engaging cross functional teams and enhancing skills in the field of HACCP/QCMS/FSSC/FSRA and ensure risk remediation plans are aligned with global strategies and initiatives.

- Facilitate Internal and External Audits program, support root cause analysis and monitor Corrective Action Preventive Action compliance.

- Deployment of best practices at Co packers and manufacturing plant.

- Partner MIS review, region reporting and continual improvement at Manufacturing plants and Co-Packers.

- Responsible for maintaining laboratory inter-laboratory testing program in

accordance with quality system requirement and FSSA.

- Deliver right first time quality in growth agenda/cost saving initiatives thru early engagement and systemic design reviews/risk assessments.

- Lead Special Situation (Crisis) Management for the country.

- Drive Training & Capability program at Manufacturing plant.

- Lead consumer, customer complaint management program.

Candidate Profile :

- Bachelors or Master's Degree in Food Technology /Quality Control or Microbiology from a recognized institute.

- 12 to 16 years- experience with a reputed FMCG company in Quality Control and Regulation.
