Head - Quality - Manufacturing Plant (15-18 yrs)

Our client's net sales turnover is 750 crores with healthy growth and margins. Started operations in 1986 and today operates 14 manufacturing plants across India. Employs 160 people directly and 2500 temporary workers.

A minimum of 15 years with qualifications in industrial engineering.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Lead plant quality organization across multiple plant to drive quality objectives of incoming goods, in-process and finished goods quality

- Ability to lead teams in multiple locations.

- Work cross functionally and drive commitment to deliver customer expectation on quality

- Work towards reducing cost of poor quality

- Handling and resolving customer complaints by prudence, referring technical papers, patents, related web jorunals, SPC tools and fully understanding the customer requirements and applications.

- Drive a culture of excellence and establish quality management metrics and dash board

- Implement and sustain integrated quality management systems.

- Responsible for supplier development and upgradation for sustained quality performance improvement

- Carry process and quality audits for all plants at desired frequency to ensure 100% compliance

- Drive and implement improvement program towards first time right/wastage/scarp/rejections/consumption of material as per business targets.

- People management

- Drive and implement best practices in manufacturing process

- Monitoring and owning the customer response management

- Train employees on quality, manufacturing excellence and company policies

- Drive six sigma for process and quality improvement.
