Roles & Responsibilities:   Lead & manage Quality Team, including coordination of dept activities, man management etc to ensure team deliverables are met in timely & efficient manner. Team Deliverables include Quality Assurance, Rejection Reduction Inhouse & Supplier, Addressing Customer Complaints.   Monitor and ensure timely analysis and initiating & closure of CAPA for all customer/internal/supplier quality issues   - Ensure timely response to customer complaints and closing   - Presentation of quality data & analysis in inter-departmental / management / feedback meetings   - Ensure proper maintaining Quality data, analysis of quality trend periodically and initiating PA for major contributing defects   - Review of inhouse rejections and disposal   - Review & approval of Quality documents updation in shopfloor   - Ensure prepartion on quality activities for successful completion of customer/system audits   - Review & approval of supplier PPAP documents, Conduct Supplier audits as required. Address Supplier Quality issues in timely manner   - Ensure adequacy of departmental processes to ensure timely meeting of team deliverables, including continuous improvement of the processes based on PDCA and potential failure mode analyses   - Ensure adequacy of skill level in the department to meet its deliverables, including training & Development as needed   - Represent Team in external interactions - Management Meetings, Inter-department coordination   Manage Team work culture. Ensure high team motivation & morale levels   - Ensure adherence to departmental processes and DWM activities   - Provision of adequate resources to ensure smooth team functioning   Key Result Areas :   a) Zero Customer Complaints   b) Timely closure of customer complaints   c) Reduction in inhouse rejections & rework   d) Reduction in Sub-contract / Supplier rejections & quality issues   e) 100% Adherence to department Processes & DWM schedule   f) Department Skill Level - Target   g) Department Training Calender 100% adherence   h) High Employee Morale - absenteeism, team motivation levels   i) Process Adequacy - continuous system improvement based on performance PDCA   j) Process efficiencies as per target lead times   k) Resource Adequacy for effective & efficient team performance   Work experience:   - 10 to 15 years experience in Quality function in manufacturing industry. Experience in Problem Solving, Quality Issues Resolutions & Process Quality Planning. 3 to 5 years experience in leading team of minimum 10 persons. Must have worked in ISO/TS environment with focus on continuous improvement.   - Candidates having proficiency in local language (Tamil) to speak and are willing to relocate alone apply
