Position: Manager Quality (Head - Quality)

Position will report to - Head – Corporate Quality

Job Responsibilities:

- Work with Corporate Quality Head to develop the plant’s quality management strategy/plans, site quality policy and procedures in line with the company’s strategy. Manage, support and provide direction and leadership to his Team Leaders

- Responsible for all plant quality activities – ensure implementation of Quality System for all materials, methods and people, effective testing of in-process and finished products, audits of the facilities, maintain specifications and standards as per Organization programs, all regulatory compliance, effective operation of laboratories and pilot plant and maintain high GMP standards within the site.

- Set and monitor the performance of the plant quality function against standards in areas such as consumer complaints, Right-first time, material and product rejections, hygiene and food safety standards, documentation, proper upkeep of all quality related equipment/facilities, audit compliance, prompt attention to any deviations, etc.

- Critical Support for execution of the manufacturing project according to strict deadlines and within budget. Manage project dependencies and critical path and lead his sub-team. Responsibilities include direct involvement and coordination for commissioning, qualification and validation of production lines, laboratories, critical utilities (HVAC, WTP, ETP, etc.).

- Investigating process deviations to identify root cause and effective preventive measures.

- Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to independently recognize and balance changing priorities to include interruptions, deadline revisions and managing of critical shipments / production orders

Candidate Profile:

- B.E / B.Tech (Food)/ MSC preferably from Food Science/ Pharmacy with 12-18 years of work experience

- Hands-on working experience in direct plant quality management familiar with Indian business environment and regulations

Skills Required:

- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills with Green field Project Experience

Techno – commercial knowledge

- Ability to work in high growth environment and manage Complexity and Change

Organizational & People Development Skills.

- CTC Would be : 28 - 30 Lakhs Per Annum
