Job Responsibilities:

- Leading the test management activities

- Designing and development of automation framework

- Review of test plan and test cases

- Timely delivery of design and development work

- Experience in Linux platform and windows

- Good communication and presentation skills

- Plan, deploy and manage test team and test activities

- Ensure test requirements are reviewed, clear and testable

- Identify and describe opportunities for non-functional test activities

- Co-ordinate with various stakeholders to get adequate requirement details to test

- Maintain traceability between test / project artefacts

- Deliver test deliverables according to project control models

- Provide inputs to the project manager / deliver lead and the project team about potential risks, current quality of the product and status of test activities

- Ensure all defects are correctly reported, analysed, assigned or escalated when needed

- Identify and describe appropriate test techniques to provide efficient test solutions

- Estimate effort of automation testing based on provided requirements

- Measure test efficiency and finding ways to improve

- Coach, guide and assist the project team in test area to fulfil their missions.

- Skilled at identifying competence needs of the test team.

- Must be able to analyse business issues and technical problems independently and come up with smart, logical solutions

- Strong problem-solving capability

- Single point of contact for test delivery of assigned projects

- Complete ownership of release from conception through deployment

- Testing web services without enabling web services add in XML and database validation Should have strong database concepts

- Requirement analysis using FRS, BRD docs Preparation of test cases & test data Preparation of test scripts

- Test Script Execution Defect Tracking and Management using ALM/JIRA

- Experience in development of framework design

- Drive technical solutions, architecture and designs of automation framework

- Perform code reviews and other activities to ensure high-quality results

Role Description:

- Overall experience of 9 to 12 years in Quality Assurance and Testing with hands on experience of 5-7 years in Automation

- Strong experience in Automated Testing of Enterprise Class and Financial application and web portals

- Expert in UI Automation using tools like Selenium web driver, Nightwatch & Automation framework development with HANDS-ON

- Used Java and JavaScript as programming language

- Good experience in JavaScript libraries JQuery, Ember, Angular

- Expert in API testing (manual and automation) using Rest Assured frameworks and Ready API

- Exposure and know-how of performance testing and security testing tools

- Knowledge of AWS / Cloud would be a plus

- Strong on QA Methodologies, concepts and best practices

- Should be a strong individual contributor and also a good team player with team leading capabilities

- Good understanding of different Servers and Operating System components

- Good understanding of OOPs, Design Patterns, Development standards, best practices

- Should be self-driven engineer with desire to use practical and professional concepts in QA along with application of QA standards and procedures to resolve routine issues

- Should be able to write use cases based on product requirements, execute them and report issues in bug tracking system

- Good experience in Agile methodology (Scrum model). Actively participated in scrum meetings like - daily standup, sprint planning, spring review, design discussions, client Demo

- Should be self-starter, lead and self-contributing the QA team to build robust and flexible Automated Testing Framework

- Helps QA community to learn Automation, impart necessary technical knowledge

- Works cohesively with team members in pursuit of team & project goals. Participates in group activities within the team. Builds stable working relationships internally
