Head - Quality Assurance - Retail

Responsibilities:

1. Define test plans, test specifications, test suites, and test cases, as well as utilize automated tools for functional, integration, and performance testing

2. Help educate a test-driven engineering team on QA best practices and tools

3. Manage team (8-10 mid/senior-level QA engineers) as well as be an individual contributor

4. Expand testing coverage by enhancing automated test suite capabilities and adding new tests

5. Implement fast and efficient QA cycles by using state of the art technologies to build comprehensive tests

6. Adopt tools and advanced test methodologies

7. Should be able to Manage QA releases across platforms

Requirement:

1. 10+ years of automation experience in an agile environment

2. 10+ years of API testing experience

3. 15+ years QA working experience

4. Experience in developing and writing complex test cases, SQL queries

5. Hands-on experience on micro services and API Testing with tools like Postman

6. Should have worked on building API mocks/stubs

7. Excellent debugging skill to find out the root cause with available tools like Charles Proxy, browser Developer Tools etc

8. Hands-on experience with any version control software (Git, SVN etc.)

9. Experience analyzing systems and figuring out what can be automated

10. Web Services / eCommerce / Retail Domain experience is a plus

11. Experience creating complete system load testing suites on a web-based or client/server product

12. Ability to create clear, concise defect submissions

13. Ability to troubleshoot software defects and identify the root cause

14. Experience with one or more open-source test, build, or deploy tools such as Robot Framework, Jenkins, JMeter.

15. Knowledge of scripting languages such as Perl, Python, JavaScript, XML or Ruby

16. Excellent written and verbal communications skills
