Head - Purchase - Solar (10-20 yrs)
- To manage all procurement activities with an objective to secure and sustain cost-effective sourcing within the organizational framework and guidelines.
- Negotiate and conclude supply and service contracts, master purchase agreements within the defined budget and time.
- Implement commodity-sourcing strategies to address market conditions, technology, and service needs. Drive the concept of QCD (Quality Cost and Delivery) in supply of material and services.
- Lead an effective and motivated team of procurement, QC and logistics professionals
- Must be able to communicate effectively with various types of shipping, transportation, and logistics agents to identify and resolve product shipping and logistics issues
- Experience in T&D equipment and Wind Equipment procurement will be an advantage. Project procurement experience is desirable. Proven ability to conclude cost-effective and innovative supply contracts, encompassing the complexities and challenges of industry, both in domestic and international market for items like PV Module, Inverters, Tracker etc
- Experience in finalizing Domestic & International terms of contract and exposure in these markets.
