Role Objective :
1.1 To perform strategic procurement activities across multiple categories of spend, search for better deals & find more profitable suppliers.
1.2 To monitor & control purchasing department budgets & spend.
1.3 Develop and implement purchasing and contract management systems/policies & procedures.
1.4 To participate in the development of specifications for equipment, products or substitute materials.
1.5 Resolve vendor or contractor grievances and claims against supplies.
1.6 Represent company in negotiating contracts & formulating policies with vendors/suppliers.
1.7 Review, Evaluate and approve specifications for issuing & awarding bids.
1.8 Regularly directing & supervising the work of people involve in purchasing/procurement of goods/material and timely review the quality of work of staff.
1.9 Preparing reports regarding market conditions and coordinating & updating to internal & external stakeholders.
1.10 Analyzing market & delivery systems in order to asses present & future material availability.
1.11 To work as a resource allocator for department as well as to organization and create good frame of network so that dependency get minimized.
1.12 To ensure cost effective & best quality printing of stationary as per specifications.
1.13 Ensuring timely dispatches & availability of stationary at all centers through SCM team and coordinating with pharmacy personals for near expiry/slow moving drugs.
1.14 Coordinating with Biomedical Manager for proper installation of instruments/equipment at all centers & ensuring timely service in case of breakdown.
1.15 Coordinating with pharmacy personals for governmental statutory requirements for keeping & maintaining drugs.
1.16 Coordinating with embryology/lab/ OT people for their requirements and closely working & coordinating with account team for timely payments to vendors/suppliers. Also coordinating with recruitment team for filling up vacancies.
1.17 Helping to create conducive environment within team/department where employee feel free to share ideas/learn/allowed to make mistakes & develop positive attitude.
1.18 To be able to provide emotional safety to each team member and create transparent environment.
1.19 Empowering people to perform & innovate and develop collaborative approach among team members.
