1) Is involved in the creation of a regional purchasing strategy derived from the global purchasing strategy
2) Manages the development and implementation of the commodity strategies at country level
3) Drives, ensures and monitors the achievement of KPI objectives within the country
4) Ensures the observance of global compliance standards
5) Responsible for country internal and external interface management
6) Ensures purchasing competitiveness at a country level
7) Aligns country budget and financial planning with the General Manager/Purchasing Director Region
8) Creates country-specific reporting for the General Manager/Purchasing Director Region
9) Responsible for country resource planning
10) Develops employee direct reports
11) Drives country action plans to achieve strategic targets
12) Promotes a respectful work environment and recruits, develops and retains human resources to maintain a qualified, motivated and productive workforce.
