Head of PR & Corporate Communications - Consumer Tech Startup
Our client is a fast-growing consumer tech startup looking for a Head of PR and Corporate Communications who will be responsible for building and spearheading the entire Corp Comm function across the key global markets.
Responsibilities:
- You will work on building the corporate communication strategy and aligning this with internal stakeholders
- Building and sustaining relationships with media and key influencers in order to increase awareness and visibility amongst selected stakeholders.
- Build the narrative of the company by leveraging media such as print, electronic channels, digital, content creation etc.
- Be abreast of the latest trends and developments in the category
- Work with and manage multiple PR agencies to boost industry story participation, annual and regional press conferences and create opportunities for exclusive contributions (articles/interviews) across print, online and broadcast channels
- Handle crisis and reputation management, analyzing media coverage on improving SOV
- Experience in working with top management (MD- CEO, Founders, CBO, Group Heads) in creating organization announcements, managing crisis town halls, press releases, industry conferences and leadership webinars
Qualifications:
- 12+ years of experience in PR/Corporate Communication.
- Experienced PR/Corp Communications professional from a leading consumer tech startup / prior experience with leading PR agencies is welcome
- Strong media relationships (especially with the consumer tech media)
- Excellent communicator (verbal & written), high attention to details
- Excellent global stakeholder management
