Head Projects - Developing project baselines; monitoring & controlling projects with respect to cost, resource deployment, time overruns and quality compliance to ensure satisfactory execution of projects - Formulating operating budgets and managing overall operations for executing civil projects within cost & time norms - Evaluating quantity surveys and liaising with site team through frequent site visits, construction meetings, on project activities and progress in order to accurately report, administer subcontractor and prepare progress claims to clients and final payments in connection with any contract or sub-contract - Organizing / participating in project review meetings for evaluating project progress & de-bottlenecking - Anchoring on-site construction activities to ensure completion of project within the time & cost parameters and effective resource utilization to maximize output - Managing the preparation of monthly progress reports entailing progress & details for engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning activities - Supervising the bidding process from floating of bids to awarding of the contracts; coordinating with bidders with regard to negotiations - Coordinating with external agencies for techno-commercial negotiations, preparation of tender / contract documents, cost estimates, including billing, variation proposals, and so on - Networking with architects / consultants / clients / contractors to ascertain technical specifications, construction related essentials, based on the prevalent rules - Leading a team of professionals; ensuring suitable deployment and timely availability of Engineers
