About Our Client

Our client is a well known MNC which designs and installs turnkey automated waste collections systems for small to large scale residential and commercial developments, hospitals, airports, industrial kitchen and town centres. They are growing their presence in India and to support the current project that has been awarded to them, they are looking for a Senior Manager Projects who will be heading the said project based out of Mumbai.

Job Description :

Reporting to the management team outside India and having a lean team of 3-5 sub contractors/designers you will be responsible for:

- Carrying out tasks at all levels of the project in order to be successful, and essentially leading by example on site and in the office, with an eye for detail, quality and proper record keeping

- Being totally familiar with the Contract - commercial and technical aspects and executing the routine Project Planning Procedures

- Establishing an approved Project Budget and executing routine Project Follow-Ups/Forecasts.

- Allocating necessary and adequate resources, such as manpower and materials, and subsequent management of these resources.

- Designing Review to international standards

- Managing financial position of the project, including cash- flow and avoiding reasons for the Client to delay/withhold payments.

- Continually monitoring and evaluating potential variations and managing and controlling subcontractors performance. Preparing and negotiating, with assistance when required, contractual issues and claims with the Client and Subcontractors.

- Participating actively in the preparation of Tender Specifications and subsequent contract negotiations with Subcontractors.

- Executing the routine Final Project Review.

The Successful Applicant :

Ideally you must have an engineering degree with atleast 15+ years of Project experience ideally in Construction/Project/EPC companies. You must have past experience of handling both Mechanical and Civil works on large scale projects . You are fluent in English and display excellent interpersonal skills thus also enabling you to give top notch presentations to the client
