Head - Program Management - NGO (15-20 yrs)
- An international NGO working in India is wishing to hire a program head to be based at Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
- The position is suited for candidates with at least 15 to 20 years of experience in program management with substantial experience in leadership roles.
- The program works closely with the state government by providing technical advisory on health, nutrition and livelihood aspects.
- The position is expected to manage the state program independently akin to a COP and would be independently responsible for the planned deliverables.
- The responsibilities span design of program strategy; developing and monitoring program budgets; oversight of program monitoring and evaluation; managing the program team and HR aspects; office management in the state; as well as other strategic and operational aspects to steer the program and successfully manage the implementation.
- The position is expected to lead and manage the interaction with external stakeholders including government officials and donor entities.
