Head - Production & Quality (Hair Shampoo)

- Responsible for the oversight of production activities ensuring achievement of company objectives at lowest cost while maintaining quality standards and customer timelines.

- Manage overall production operations

- Ensure timely production with highest degree of compliance and quality assurance

- Promotes safety and cleanliness according to Lean Manufacturing practices

- Prioritize and schedule work assignments to ensure timely delivery according to cost and quality specifications

- Complete various special projects, as needed

- Working closely with Senior Management (including conducting field visits) to conduct quality tests; liaise with external agencies for carrying out tests on own brand products and imported partner brand products; establishing quality procedures, standards and specifications

- Working with Operations Head to analyse production feasibility and set quality standards

- Overseeing production to ensure final approved sample is being followed in production

- Ensuring adherence to certifications & compliance and also comply with ISO accreditation requirements

- Auditing materials to assure quality before shipping to stores/customers.

- Liaise with external testing labs to assess the product's quality by testing for a range of features and seeing how the product performs under stresses like impact, temperature, humidity, etc

- Investigating causes of quality problems and proposing solutions.

- Managing Co-Packer manufacturing operations which includes (Quality, Production, Packaging, Product Development and technicalities, lab tests at the vendors' sites etc.

Qualification And Experience :

1. BSc/PG and/or equivalent combination of education & relevant experience with more than 10 years of experience in managing quality / manufacturing (shampoo manufacturing knowledge required). Color Cosmetics Experience is a must.

2. Thorough understanding of regulations for production/packaging of Shampoo (FMCG) with 5+ years supervisory experience, preferably in a Medium Size environment

3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills

4. Moderate computer skills and ability to learn new skills and technologies

5. You should have worked with contract manufacturers and testing labs (mandatory experience with Shampoo) and should be well-versed with regulations and standards of Shampoo manufacturing.

6. You should have demonstrated good experience in quantitative analysis.

7. You should have personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and commitment to corporate mission and you should be able to execute multiple tasks.

8. You should have demonstrated excellent track record in your last roles and should be ready for the next challenging role in a startup ortganization
